Consider if you had three piles of cards, each with an Ace at the bottom. How many cards would be in each pile? (13) How many cards would you have in your hand after counting off 10 cards and setting them aside (step 6)? Flips the 3 piles over. Where are the Aces in each pile? What is the sum of the top cards from two piles (step 7)? How many cards remain after you count out the cards representing the sum (step 8)? Now perform the trick with 3 different cards (not necessarily Aces) and answer the questions above.
